🗣️📱☎️Bell Let's Talk: Take a Moment ☎️📱🗣️
This year, Bell Let’s Talk Day 2025, January 22nd, is prioritizing taking a moment for your Mental Health, and reaching out to those around you who are caring for their mental health.
We understand that work can sometimes be stressful and impact your mental health. At CSS, our goal is to foster a workplace culture that prioritizes mental well-being. To support this, we’ve introduced Wellness Days, RBC group benefits, and clear policies and procedures. For full details, please review our Mental Health Policy in the 2026 CSS Human Resources Handbook.
This year, the social committee is encouraging everyone to talk about mental health and support each other. You can text YOUTH to 45678 to donate $5 which Bell will match, or post on social media using #BellLetsTalk. So let’s start the conversation, and take a moment to practice self-care, reach out to a friend, or participate in community events.
Bell is dedicated to moving mental health forward in Canada, Bell Let’s Talk promotes awareness, acceptance and action with a strategy built on 4 key pillars:
- Anti-Stigma
One of the biggest hurdles for anyone struggling with mental illness is overcoming the stigma attached to it. Talking is an important first step towards lasting change.
3. Research
Research holds the greatest promise to better understand treatments and solutions. Bell Let’s Talk has funded research projects across the country, including $3 million to fund the world’s first university chair in mental health and anti-stigma research at Queen’s University and $1 million to fund Canada’s first biobank of biological, social and psychological data at l’Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal.
2. Care & Access
Through the Bell Let’s Talk Funds, partnerships and major gifts, Bell has supported organizations in every province and territory in Canada, enabling them to improve access to mental health supports and services in communities nationwide.
4. Workplace Leadership
One in three workplace disability claims in Canada are related to mental illnesses. Bell’s initiatives to improve mental health awareness, training and benefits have reduced short-term disability claims related to mental health by over 30%, and reduced relapse and recurrence by more than 50%.
There is not just one way, or one day to take action. Give mental health the moment it deserves.
