Updated Travel Insurance Wording
Effective November 1, 2025, the Unstable Medical Conditions exclusions will be removed from the Group Benefits Out of Province / Country Travel Emergency Medical Insurance coverage.
What you need to know:
- For incidents that occur on or after November 1, 2025, the Unstable Medical Conditions exclusions will no longer apply. See attached for wording that will be removed.
- Updated Group Benefit Out of Province / Country Travel Emergency Medical Insurance wording will be available as of November 1, 2025.
- All other terms and conditions remain the same.
Note: If your coverage includes Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage, the Unstable Medical Conditions exclusions will continue to apply for Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption Claims.
