E.D.G.E. - Enhance, Develop, Govern, Execute
CSS has established the E.D.G.E. Committee to lead firmwide initiatives that strengthen our technology environment, improve software consistency, and ensure governance and accountability across all digital systems. The committee comprised Senior Staff from each office as champions, so all CSS locations have representation.
The committee’s purpose is to:
- Enhance current IT processes, software usage and platforms, integrations, and system performance.
- Develop clear policies, training, and best practices that promote consistent technology use.
- Govern digital standards to maintain data integrity, security, compliance, and operational control.
- Execute actionable technology initiatives that drive measurable improvement across the firm.
The E.D.G.E. Committee will focus on modernizing our platforms and software, improving collaboration between offices, and supporting staff through structured training and process alignment. By coordinating efforts across our core applications, including CaseWare, iFirm, Taxprep, and Doc-It, the committee aims to create a seamless, secure, and efficient digital workspace in preparation for moving the Firm towards cloud computing and systems. The dashboard will become our main avenue of communication, as we prepare to roll out new initiatives.
E.D.G.E. reflects CSS’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence and technological advancement. The work of the E.D.G.E. Committee will help ensure our systems evolve in step with our strategic goals by delivering consistency, compliance, and confidence firmwide.
