🧡 Don't Forget Your Orange Shirts! 🧡
Orange Shirt Day is approaching, so here is your reminder to place your order for an orange shirt in recognition of Truth and Reconciliation Day on September 30th.
Orange Shirt Day began as a movement to honor the experiences of Indigenous children who were sent to residential schools. The orange shirt symbolizes the story of Phyllis Webstad, who had her new orange shirt taken away on her first day of residential school. Today, it stands as a powerful reminder of the children, families, and communities affected, and our collective responsibility to learn, reflect, and support reconciliation.Â
100% of the proceeds from orange shirt sales sold at Indigenous Marketing Solutions go directly towards the Naut’sa mawt Elders’ Council Healing Gathering, which provides good medicine through, connection, feasting, and celebrating culture.
👉 If you and some friends/colleagues would like to purchase a group order (13+ shirts) you may also do so, and discounts will be applied at checkout.Â
Even if you don’t purchase from this campaign, we encourage everyone to wear an orange shirt on September 30th to show support and solidarity.Â
